The Nurturer

In exploring the many environmental issues that effect the world in this series, I chose to use the milkweed pod as an icon for a vessel for change. It’s a symbol of hope. Even through extreme temperature changes, storms, flooding, fire, etc., the seeds float off into the wind and bring new life where they land. The bare feet that have walked this Earth for centuries, remind us of how humans have experienced the cycles of destruction and rebirth throughout time.
