I didn't used to like crows because they were noisy and I didn't like their voices. But I've come to appreciate them. They stick around to keep us company all winter when all the other birds fly south. They fill the trees in the evenings, like they're having a dinner party. They're quite smart, too. In native culture, the crow symbolizes a wise teacher, a bringer of sacred messages, and a guardian of universal secrets. I like that.
